Austin Chapter of HIMSS Passes Financial Audit
The Board of the Austin Chapter of HIMSS would like to recognize and thank the contributions of Nomita Suthar, Cindy Elstad, and Alex Lyon for their work performing an independent audit of the our financial records for the prior fiscal year (July 1, 2008 – June 30, 2009). The chapter started the year with a bank account balance of $7,011.71. We had $3,260 in income from membership dues and sponsors. We spent $4,260 mostly on catering meals at our luncheons and we ended the year with a bank balance of $6,012.17. The audit report was submitted to the HIMSS national office for review as part of our annual reporting requirements. Thanks again to these members for auditing our financial records.
